What can i eat on a limited budget?

Hi, I am at uni at the moment so am on a limited budget. I am on a gluten free diet and find it really hard to stick to especially for lunch time meals. I am doing nursing so a lot of the time I can't eat at normal lunch hours and don't get very long breaks. can you suggest anything cheap that will keep relatively well?

How about baked beans (very cheap, low fat, high protein, packed with slow release energy and B vitamins), canned fish (also cheap and a great source of beneficial omega-3 oils), or wheat free pasta (filling and ok calorie wise if you watch the portion size) with a bottled tomato sauce? All of these are really quick to rustle up and will keep you going without breaking your diet. Another thing I?d suggest is soup - homemade from whatever veg you have to hand when you get a spare minute. It?s a great healthy stomach filler and very economical to make. And you can also pop it in a flask and take it with you!
