Should I reduce my calories on the days I don't exercise?

Since joining Nutracheck I have noticed my body responds better when I eat most of my calories and don't try too hard to be under the target. I exercise around 5 times a week. Is it necessary that I reduce my calorie intake on the days I don't exercise?

Hi there.

It sounds like you are managing your weight loss well by eating carefully and exercising. As you have found out, regular exercise and sticking to your calorie target works as a weight loss strategy!!

Eating less than your target calories does not always result in permanent weight loss and there is always the danger of getting too hungry and then over-eating and blowing your target for the day!

As you are happy with your weight loss, I can't see any reason for you to reduce your calories on the two days you don't exercise. If you hit a plateau in the future, which can happen as you get near your goal weight, you may find that you need to reduce your calories slightly on the days you don't exercise for a few weeks, but I don?t recommend going below 1,200 calories a day. This should get things moving again.
