I'm vegetarian but don't like quorn or other veggie foods

I'm a vegetarian and have tried the quorn, Linda McCartney and general meat free products but haven't really found anything I enjoy and tend to just eat pizzas and chips mostly every day, are there certain vitamins vegetarians should take as supplements for this?

Pizza and chips every day is a bit restrictive as you?ve recognised, though you can make a big difference by varying the toppings you have with your pizza, and by having pasta or a jacket potato as an alternative to chips. Also do you like eggs, beans and nuts? These are all good sources of protein and you don?t actually have to like the processed foods like quorn or LInda McCartney meals to be a healthy veggie. The other important thing to do is make sure you eat a variety of fruits and vegetables - if you do this you should be getting most of the vitamins and minerals you need. Try to include 3 dairy servings a day too - they provide calcium and will supplement your protein intake if it is low. If you are able to vary your diet as much as as possible with these suggestions, you shouldn?t need to supplement, but an A-Z formulation is something you could consider to be on the safe side.
