How much weight have you lost and how long did it take?

I joined Nutracheck on 26th March 2023 and have since lost 4st 5lbs61lbs27.7kg. I am still a work in progress but oh what progress I have made so far!

What prompted your decision to lose weight?

I just knew that I needed to find something as I had just retired in December 2022 and knew I was going to be nowhere near as active as I had been. With my weight already being a problem, I was afraid of ending up in a bad downward spiral.

How did you hear about Nutracheck?

I was searching for something that would give me more information, like how much protein, calories, sugar etc in foods. I just happened to come across this app and saw the free trial and it looked like maybe it was something I would be interested in.

Has your weight stayed fairly consistent over the years, or have you always had to manage it?

I had done many other programs only to yo-yo. Plus, the cost of them was overwhelming given my new income in retirement. The price of NC is but a fraction of the cost of the other programs, AND it works!!

Have you experienced any health improvements?

My bad, arthritic knees are now not as painful.

How easy was it to fit the changes you made into your lifestyle?

I really love that NC is life-friendly. I can eat anything I want. I have learned to budget my calories for special meals, treats, and so on.

I'm never feeling deprived. I don't suffer from hunger pains. We order takeout quite frequently. Chinese, Mexican, Italian, sandwiches, etc. I've had it all during this journey.

I really like that the app is very easy to use.

How do you feel now compared to before?

I have more energy. When I started NC I was only getting about 1800 to 2200 steps a day. I'm now doing 6000 to 12000 steps a day.

Any notable milestones to report?

Not only do I have the weight loss but so many NSV's (non-scale victories). As I prepared to switch out clothing for my winter things, I was amazed at being able to shop my closet. There are so many things that I have that I couldn't wear last year and had just put away. It's like Christmas!

Any tips that you would give to someone who has weight to lose?

  1. The Nutracheck Forum is fantastic and full of lovely people who will share their experiences and any advice that they may have.
  2. Any questions that I have had for the Nutracheck staff, they are quick to respond and have been very helpful.

I think I finally found a plan, a lifestyle, that will take me through the rest of my life. I'm looking forward to continued success with Nutracheck.
