Nutracheck weight loss

How much weight have you lost and how long did it take?

I started my Nutracheck journey in September 2018, and to date I have lost approximately 4st56lbs25.4kg and many inches of fat!

What prompted your decision to lose weight?

I started my weight loss program last September after we returned from a holiday to Zante in Greece. When I got home I found it difficult to look at the photographs as I was horrified at how big I had got. I felt uncomfortable looking at myself and decided I had to take immediate action before the problem got any worse.

How did you hear about Nutracheck?

I was searching the internet for calorie-controlled weight loss programmes and Nutracheck was the top site displayed on the search engine.

Has your weight stayed fairly consistent over the years, or have you always had to manage it?

My weight has gone up and down over the past 20 years and I have previously done Weight Watchers and Slimming World diets but the weight seemed to always go back on quite quickly once I stopped buying their meals, which were generally quite expensive.

How easy was it to fit the changes you made into your lifestyle?

With the Nutracheck programme I have found it quite easy as there is virtually nothing I can't eat (within moderation) and there are no difficult regimes that I have to follow or stick to.

Being in full-time employment, the programme has really helped me to lose the weight with minimum fuss or disruption; it has just fit into my life very easily which has made it sustainable and a joy to follow.

What was the most difficult thing?

I haven't found any difficulties or obstacles whilst following the programme and I have recommended it to several friends and colleagues who have also now started using the programme and App.

How do you feel now compared to before?

The weight loss has dramatically improved my confidence as I can now wear clothes that I would not have dreamt of wearing previously, or been able to purchase in my size!

I also feel healthier and it has helped change my whole lifestyle which I am confident will help me maintain my current weight for many years to come.

I am now more active and enjoy walking and getting outdoors whereas before I was lazy and did no exercise whatsoever.

It has also improved my love life with my partner as I feel sexier and I am more confident being naked as I'm no longer ashamed or embarrassed of my body!

Any notable milestones to report?

I have gone from a size 16/18 top to a size 12, and I have reduced my bottoms size from a 14 to an 8/10.

What tips would you give to anyone who has weight to lose?

  1. The Nutracheck programme and App is an absolute must if you are serious about losing weight, and wanting to maintain the loss.
  2. Remember, a small loss is better than no loss! Do not give up or get disheartened if you have a bad day or even a bad week... just set yourself a new goal for the coming week as it's a long term commitment and not just a short term diet!
  3. Get active. Even if it's only walking to the local shop instead of driving there and using stairs instead of escalators (I used to do both of these when I was fat and lazy!)
  4. Talk to others who are doing the same as you...share ideas, recipes and grow your own little Nutracheck community. It all helps the process and makes it far easier and successful as it becomes a complete 'lifestyle change' and not just a fad diet!
