How much weight have you lost and how long did it take?

I started on the 24th June 2023 at 19st 5lbs271lbs123kg and lost 7st 11lbs109lbs49.5kg in just over 8 months.

What prompted your decision to lose weight?

I just hit a breaking point. I didn't like the way I felt or looked anymore. I was diagnosed with PCOS and then I knew I had to change my lifestyle.

How did you hear about Nutracheck?

I started my research on weight loss on YouTube and TikTok. I found that Nutracheck was the most popular and talked-about app.

Has your weight stayed fairly consistent over the years, or have you always had to manage it?

I have always struggled with my weight as it fluctuated up and down. No diet has ever worked for me until now.

Have you experienced any health improvements?

I used to have really bad asthma and frequently suffered from chest infections - but currently I'm off all of my inhalers. As well as this, despite having busy days at work I no longer experience back and knee pain.

How easy was it to fit the changes you made into your lifestyle?

It was very easy to fit the changes into my lifestyle, especially with the recipes, as it calculated the calories for me.

What was the most difficult thing about your weight-loss journey?

The most difficult part would be overcoming the cravings. The willpower and control needed to know when to stop eating. Also, I struggled with overcoming my gym anxiety because I didn't feel like I fitted in as a bigger person. But now it’s my second home. I love it.

How do you feel now compared to before?

I feel so much more confident. I can wear the clothes I've always wanted to wear. I also feel so much healthier in my body and in my mind.

Any notable milestones to report?

I can now run on the treadmill and I've signed up for a mini-marathon in June

What 3 tips would you give to anyone who has weight to lose?

  1. Just do it. Sitting there dreaming about losing weight does nothing - do your research and get a gym membership.
  2. Listen to the people around you trying to help you with your journey and don't take offence when they talk to you about your weight.
  3. Enjoy your journey, the new clothes, the new lifestyle, the new friends, and enjoy learning about your body. Take your time.
